T-Shirt - TAUTUA

NZ$35.00

Inspired by traditional siapo (tapa) and tatau (tattoo). Wave forms represent our connection to the moana. The negative spaces symbolise sails of the ‘alia - ancient vessels of the ocean that were used to navigate the Pacific. The outer circles form the top of a traditional kava bowl and together with the ‘t’ mark - a compass for direction and discovery.
